The CDF Annual Education Conference & Food Faire 2011 provided the nearly 700 attendees with a greater understanding of Celiac disease, associated conditions, gluten sensitivity, dietary compliance, future therapies and the effect on family members. They had the opportunity to network and meet with exhibitors, sample and discover the latest gluten-free foods and services, as well as share experiences with other attendees. It was an exceptional day of gluten-free food, educational facts and fun!

This year's recipient was Carrie Owen, Founder, Team Gluten-Free™
Adding to the excitement of the day was the presentation by RedBrick Pizza of their corporate donation in support of the CDF Celiac Children's Camp!
The daytime activities culminated with a dinner event where attending guests had the chance to honor Dr. Alessio Fasano for his dedication in making a difference in the lives of people with Celiac disease.
A delicious gluten-free dinner was served, accompanied by wine courtesy of Royal Wine Corp. and gluten-free beer compliments of Bard's Tale Beer Co.
